This place is really interesting and on top of that is a nature reserve with some outstanding walks and stunning views over the harbour to Sydney. Its a steep hill down to the town centre, ferry and shops.

We were staying at the Q Station and spent quite a while walking around this historical site. The first thing that you sense is the quiet. You are right on one of the busiest harbours in the world and it is so quiet and peaceful...More

We went to North Head/ Q Station because we had some extra time in Manly and we weren't disappointed. The walk - around 2 kms- gives great views of the harbour and the mountains with chirping colorful parrots and brown furry rabbits for company. There...More

The harbour views and scenic hikes could not be lovelier, but the ghost tours are not for the faint of heart. Close to Manly, although buses run infrequently so transportation a little inconvenient unless you utilize a car or taxi. Rooms are well appointed. A...More

If you have a fear of ghosts then don't do this tour. The guides are excellent and try to put a little bit of humour into the tour. There are definitely spirits at this station and my partner who is a little bit skeptical at...More

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants

Ferries leave from Circular Quay in Sydney to the Manly Pier, you can walk to the Quarantine station from the Manly Wharf but it is a fairly steep 40 minute walk.
