High Street Barry

Very local to us and just the place for most items needed. Small shops with a good range of products, parking could be improved but most of the time it is possible.

There is really nothing excitng about Barry town centre. Better to catch a train to Cardiff, far more to see and do there. Or go to Barry Island.

Plenty of various types of shops from gift shops, clothing, butchers to hardware and everything in between. On street parking can get a bit congested in High Street but there are numerous adjacent streets which are less congested and only a short stroll from the High Street. Very pretty at Christmas when they put the Christmas lights up and have... More

Had a lovely few hours at High Street with a friend, had lunch in one of the lovely cafes and did a little shopping, lovely personal service as the shops are all independent traders, so you get that extra quality service.

High Street Barry is a small street of independent traders. Boutiques,home/gift shops.Deli, excellent butcher, hardware shop and a smattering of very good coffee shops that sell superb foods. Most of all there aren't Chains. I love this place. Fabulous atmosphere especially at Christmas.
