A fantastic place to visit on a sunny day. We hired a rowing boat and spent an hour (£16) on the lake. It was excellent and the whole family enjoyed the experience and scenic location.

Lovely scenic place to visit, had a lovely hour out on the lake in a rowing boat - not too expensive to do. Can get very busy in the summer months. Plenty of amenities, cafe, resturant, shop etc.

Probably didn't visit this lake at its best. Although the weather was warm & sunny the ground was completely water-logged and liberally covered with horse manure. The parking wasn't very abundant, even on a mid-week afternoon. Even the ducks looked forlorn.

Thank you for visiting, until the flooding has gone down the Crannog Centre will remain closed for safety reasons. Apologies normally it would be open so information centres can give out the wrong information. The building you waded out to is not meant to be...More

I appreciate that other people may have had a great time at Llangorse Lake, but our experience was entirely different. We visited one week after Easter and it seemed that everything was shut down. We planned to follow the lakeside walk but all the ground...More

Due to the weather conditions this year, late snow and prolonged heavy rainfall, the public footpath around the lake is under water. The OS map does show that a section of the public footpath is liable to flooding. Seeking a walk at a higher altitude...More

We accidentally stumbled upon Llangorse Lake on a trip to Crickhowell and I was very glad we did! Hope to return soon and spend more time here.

If you just want to view the lake the area around the jetties is flat, the walk around the lake has stiles , can be boggy if wet and is not wheelchair friendly. Their is a cafe 250 meters from the lake.

On the common is ok as long as no sheep are on there which is not normally the case. I always let my dog jump in the lake away from the ducks.

Hi the footpath is accessible at the moment though very muddy just after the footbridge off Llangorse Common. The bird hide on the Llangasty side of the lake is not currently locked at night.
