Loved this old house stacked full of memorabilia. Really interesting downstairs front room and kitchen. Very pleasantly surprised by the back garden which you wouldn't have known about from the street entrance. Lovely apple and pear trees, kitchen garden and flowers in abundance in summer. Owned by Ruthin Castle in the past and lines the walls of the castle so the view of the castle is different.

Very well presented tour through the various eras of this fascinating house and garden. Gardens are spectacular. Kids found the house and contents very interesting, fuel for the imagination! Well presented written guides and extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff.

This is an interesting old house showing a variety of different styles. However at £7 each I'm not convinced it's worth the cost. Especially considering the building doesn't appear to be particularly well looked after. There were cobwebs and dust everywhere including on the stairs! The gardens are beautiful but I couldn't spend very long there. Total visit time only 15-20 minutes.
