Absolutely stunning area of the country.
Jun 2021 • Family
Visited the area camping and with a 5 minute walk we Spent 3 days just exploring the area of the nature reserve, beech, pinewoods, islands and walks and still didn't get through half of it We had the weather, scenery and a special place to make memories. The main carpark from Newborough did seem to get full pretty early but this could of been down to the sun and all the beech goers. Pay on exit at a barrier. The carpark had toilets, ice cream van and a refreshments trailer selling burgers and drinks etc. Just miles and miles to explore that being beech, trails or dunes. Will definitely be going back on another trip to explore.

Fantastic Beach and Nature Reserve
Jun 2021 • Couples
Fantastic scenery and beautifully laid out parking and picnic area. This Nature Reserve has one of the best beaches I have seen for a very long time!

With Snowdonia as a backdrop, the scenery is stunning. Definitely worthy of a visit!

Not to be missed

Fabulous forest walks and beach. Three and a half hours well spent and parking fees reasonable. Excellent facilities near beach..very clean loos, spotless picnic areas and ice cream available onsite near beach. Incredible views of mountains from beach and from Ynys Llanddwyn. Good information boards...some well placed inside wooden posts so easy to find but generally unobtrusive.

Walk to Llandwyn
Nov 2020
One of my favourite places - wild and windy, but absolutely beautiful as usual. Loads of different shells and even a little sea glass.

Anglesey 2020
Sep 2020 • Couples
I’ve been holidaying on the island for nearly 60 years. Never explored this part before.
We planned to walk this section of the Coastal Path. All I can say is that it’s amazing area not to be missed.

Best beach in Anglesey
Oct 2020 • Couples
We think this beach is the best in Anglesey (although we haven’t been to them all). There’s beach for miles, most of it golden and sandy. There’s a few parts that are rocky but if you walk a few minutes you’ll find sand again.
You can see views of the mountains including Snowdon from the beach, and when the tide is out you can walk out to the “island” which has a lighthouse and some ruins on it.
There’s a coastal walk as part of the beach, and a few walks across the Warrens. You can park all day for £5, or I’m sure there would be areas to park only a short walk away too as it’s quite a long beach.

Most beautiful beach
Sep 2020 • Couples
Love Newborough beach. 2nd time visiting and was amazing again. We were extremely Lucky with the weather and even had a section of beach to ourselves where my boyfriend proposed - it was perfect! One of the nicest beaches in the world and nice how secluded it can be in parts.

Wonderful place

Lots to do here. Pack a picnic as there’s only an ice cream van here and you’re going to want to be here all day.
