Several car parks close to the beach and Llanddwyn with a beautiful walk through Newborough Forest. Tiny frogs and lots of horses along the way. Great views of the Lleyn Peninsula. Ynys Llanddwyn just awesome but remember to check the tides.

One of the most beautiful combinations I have had the privilege to experience in the UK having been travelling for 40 years and done many coastal walks. From the Newborough sands car park the whole trip took me 1 1/2 hours. The cottages and lighthouse...More

A Forestry Commission beach in Anglesey that is well worth the £5 admission charge. Pine forest trails, sand dunes and lovely beach. There are extensive dog friendly areas of the beach, though they are not allowed on the island. There are toilets, showers, a snack...More

We visited here on a sunny Friday - drove there for two hours from NW England and back in the evening. £5 to park is a bargain - good facilities in the car park. Walk for about haf an hour to the island and perhaps...More

Newborough beach is a gorgeous place with stunning views. The reason I particularly liked it was that my elderly dad who struggles to walk was able to make it down onto the beach but I was also able to take my pooch too because the...More

As almost everyone has said, this place is just great. Lovely flowers, views, interesting little Pilots Museum and old Church, lighthouse and cottages. No cafes or anything modern, but just a little gem.

Llanddwyn Island is my favourite place in the world. I could write pages and pages describing how beautiful it is but there's no point. Just go and visit for yourself.

Have been here a few times before and always loved it. Have to pay to get to the large car park which had a burger van and ice cream van on site. Good toilets also available. The beach and views are fantastic. Dog owners go...More

Well I’ve been here on many occasions throughout all the Seasons and it really is a beautiful place. Ynys Llanddwyn is my favourite place to just sit on any of its small coves and reflect away from the busy Newborough side of the beach. It’s...More

The car park covers a large area, explaining exactly where they might be would require detailed explanation and a map - even if I knew. Only thing I can suggest is to look for them or find a forest warden and ask. Sorry... More
