We parked at the free car park just outside the village. We walked through the woods to the beach. It was a lovely 8 mile round trip. Sadly on reaching the paid car park area there was no where to buy a drink or food....More

Beautiful and atmospheric place to visit. Highly recommend. Great for walkers with or without their dogs. Miles of sand dunes or beach to explore. Lovely part of the world. Makes for a magical day out!

We stayed in a cottage nearby expressly so that we could walk through the forest and among the dunes. We were more than happy to pay the parking fee to make our contribution to the care of the area. It might be good to have...More

Not far into the west coast of this island, along the A4080 (and past the non existent (currently) Model Village) you come to this lovely beach area, with parking. A very good spot for a healthy walk.

This is one of the best beaches in Anglesey. The sand dunes are great for dog walkers and if you time the tide right you can get on the peninsula and down to the lighthouse.

If you can it's a lovely walk but there is no cafe at the beach so you would have to take a picnic. Also you need to pay a little to get in so take change. Maybe be worth looking at the tide table to make sure you can get... More

There are BBQ facilities provided in the car park by the beach and you are only a 100 yards from the beach to get your view.
