Brilliant fun and great value for money
May 2021 • Family
We loved our trip to Foel Farm. Visited with our two young children and there was plenty to keep them occupied for the day which made it great value for money. The place was well maintained, staff friendly, toilets clean and lots of things for kids to do. All the usual animals you’d expect on a farm which you can feed, a highlight was being able to groom the rabbits. Tractor ride was great fun, there’s a huge sandpit with trucks, area with tractor ride ons, swings and the giant inflatable pillow which our children loved. It wasn’t busy and felt really clean. The cafe served lovely food too.

Excellent And Prices Have Stayed The Same
Jun 2021 • Family
A lovely day out at our local Farm Park. We expected price increases due to the long lockdown however prices have stayed the same. Other local attractions take note....

Investment has been made as well. New tractor trailer and walkways.

Highly reccomended

Love it!

I might be the only adult just visit the farm without bring a kid. Why not.. I am just as excited as 5 years old to hold a 5 weeks old rabbit in my hand and feed the goats. All kids are so happy here. The tractor ride was fun. Wish a bit longer though. It was such a different feeling if you can play and touch the animals than just looking at them from far away.

Fantastic day out
Apr 2021 • Family
Utterly brilliant day out. We came here recently with our two year old and had the best day. There is so much to see and do here for little ones and for animal lovers of all ages lots to enjoy too. It’s also a really interactive animal experience but one that is done really well and with the care for the animals at its heart. Lots of non animal activities too such as tractor rides and bouncy pillows to name just a few. The chap in charge was a lovely man too, so helpful and keen to make sure we all got our change in the tractor. Also a fab chocolate shop on site. If I lived here I would prob be here every week. Great day out.

Amazing day out for little ones
May 2021 • Family
My four year old son loves Foel Farm. The staff are lovely. Leah in particular (red haired lady 🙂) is amazing with my son and she makes a real fuss of him every time we are there and he loves going to see her.

The beach was virtually a right off due to the weather, so we followed the signs for the Foel Farm just to do something for the day. It was brilliant fun. My daughter had an amazing time from start to finish. The tractor ride to see the Shire horse and ponies, the huge Pillow bouncy thing, feeding the sheep and playing with the lambs, petting the rabbits, eating the superb chocolate, playing in the sand pit, racing on the play tractors and counting piglets.
Its small, easy to get around, simple and great fun for youngsters. Was lovely to be able to stroll around at your own pace, rather than be herded around and watched over.
Highly recommended for all weathers.

Best day out! Diwrnod gwych!

We’ve had the best day out here today!! Children loved holding the rabbits, lambs and kids. Seeing the 12 little piglets and many more farm animals. Really fun quad/trailer ride. The big bouncy pillow was so much fun for the kids. Staff were so friendly. Food was 10/10. Fantastic that they cater for my coeliac daughter. Don’t go home without the Anglesey chocolate! Delicious and reasonably priced. We will be back again soon. Diolch yn fawr Ffarm Foel.

FAB DAY OUT
May 2021 • Family
We visited Foel Farm on Friday 7th May we had a fab time, being local have visited the farm many times through different generations of our family and also with visiting friends, the place has not lost its charm after all these years, I like its still got its farm style feel and experience, if your looking for a slick commercialised place head elsewhere, you have staff that are engaging very child friendly and genuinely look happy doing there job. I would like to say a special thanks to Clive and Lisa, My nephew uses makaton to help him communicate what a lovely suprise that Lisa knew makaton and had fun chatting with my nephew, he enjoyed that she could understand him when he was so excited being at the farm. Clive well what a Gem he was so friendly and accommodating nothing too trouble and very Imformative when we went on our tractor ride.
I think it would be great if Foel farm could work with education sector and offer a day at the farm especially if you had your own special needs awareness member of staff.

No lamb bottle feeding!
Apr 2021 • Family
Most things were great and I'm hoping the negatives I mention are just because of teething problems of just coming out of Lockdown.

The main reason for going was for our very young daughter to bottle feed a lamb and to pet a rabbit, as well as meeting many animals.

We were reassured, when booking and paying over the phone, that this was all on. It was a mixed bag. The rabbit petting was on, which she enjoyed, but we were told, on arrival, that the bottle feeding couldn't happen, due to restrictions. Major disappointment.

She saw some farm animals up close - which is great. She enjoyed the huge bouncy pillow, playing in the sandpit, the ride on the tractor and trailer around the paddock, riding on the toy tractors (though some are desperate for maintenance - rusty and broken). The play area seems a little unfinished and could do with some maintenance.

There are areas and animals which we probably missed, because, I was surprised to find out, there is no map available to help tell you what is where. Apparently, this is because they are a small place, but when you have a toddler and baby, it's nice to know what animals are where.

Finally, they are doing some major upgrades, and some parts of the farm looking like an extensive building site, as they do some major landscaping - new attraction additions? It doesn't spoil the experience, but the sooner it's finished the better.

We felt a little deflated about the visit, given the bottle feeding was the main reason for going (but 2 out of 3 isn't bad). We had been before, taking friends and their children a few years ago, and that was great - bottle feeding was an enjoyable experience for the children. We're trusting that the current issues are down to the last year's Coronavirus issues and Lockdown (which is why we still gave it 4 stars). We will go again - though, when booking, we'll doubly make sure of the issues mostly being resolved.
