Short and sweet, this Pier but the views towards the Great Orme, Snowdonia and back down the strait are all worth the short stroll. Beaumaris itself is worth a visit, quaint and timewarped! Our visit was fleeting as suddenly the heavens opened but we'll certainly...More

When I think of piers, I'm recalling Brighton, Southend, Rhyl, New Brighton. In their heyday, to name but a few, each offered entertainment and were major attractions. By comparison, Beaumaris is now a structured walk into the tidal area. That's fine; the air us good,...More

The pier is just a basic pier with an adjacent life boat station (which does advertise when they do practise launches but not at the time we were there.

It's only a short pier, mainly used for getting on and off pleasure boats, but it would be rude not to walk down and back.

Visited Beaumaris Pier the other day, and was a bit disappointed. It is quite small with few attractions. However you get a good blow and good views across to Snowdonia.

Bank holiday weekend at Beaumaris on the pier turned into a crab feast with young and old enjoying the beautiful sunshine and the challenge to see how many crabs they could catch

This pier provides you great views of Snowdonia National Park, Great Orme and the Menai Straight. Watch out for seagulls tough!

Well kept pier. Plenty of benches to sit. Lovely on a sunny day looking out onto the sea.. not a lot you can say.. little shop at the start looked inviting..

The pier is not far from the hotel we stayed in, idea for walks or crab fishing if you have children. Plus very good boat rides up the estuary.

Great little pier with fantastic views over the north Wales coast. Worth a stroll along if you are visiting the nearby castle or town. From the pier you can book sea fishing trips or boat tours under the menai bridges or around puffin island. Small...More

The gaol is not in the castle, it is up one of the side streets, but it is well signposted. I can't remember it very well so l would be guessing about wheelchair/scooter access but l have found their phone number online, it... More

As one of the previous answers mentioned, I think Bangor Pier would be a better option. There is so much crabbing going on that maybe fish would be frightened off.
