I great place to visit after a days walking or kayaking. A nice selection of drinks. I enjoyed the hot chocolate but the coffee looked good too. Savory snacks (cheesy chips) or a slice of cake to complement the drinks.

As peaks come in Snowdonia comes Moel Siabod is a very accessible achievable summit for all, round trip of about 8km with good routes Walking and scrambling. This said you still need to be prepared as the weather can change rapidly

On the main road, someone has converted a garage into an eating house and general store for walkers, excellent. There is also a gallery.

This was my first ever hike up a mountain and it went well. I took a bus from Llanwrst down to Capel Curig and started my walk from there. Most of the time you can see the mountain up ahead and you gradually get higher....More

Tackled from Capel Curig. Its not an overly steep hike but quiet long - about 6 miles. There is a ridge climb to the summit but we ran out of time and never made it :(

When you're in the middle of nowhere this is a welcome sight. Spacious and accommodating for walkers/climbers.
