So this place is great. We went as a family with our friends after a week in north wales and the kids loved it. Lots to see and do but not for people who find it hard to walk a long way as its up...More

I genuinely do not know how this zoo is still allowed to be open, the animal cruelty going on at this zoo is shocking. The chimps looked so depressed with barely any fur left and so skinny, the toys in their enclosure looked tired and...More

There are lots of animals of varying sizes, the cages as with all zoos could be bigger especially for some animals, but they all seemed to be well looked after. Lovely views from the cafe, and really nice food and drink too

We loved the zoo. There were plenty of animals to see and the views are fantastic, especially from the penguin cafe. Would recommend dressing up warm as it was quite blustery at points. You will need some stamina if visiting with a pushchair as it...More

Zoo is very spread out, if planning on taking young children and especially a pushchair it is very hilly in parts and can be difficult. Zoo is expensive for what it is and food is also expensive as well as rude staff in the treetop...More

Most of the enclosures were empty and ones that weren't you couldn't see the animals as they were all hiding. Footpaths were covered in leaves and mud making them hard to navigate. Map was useless. Path next to deer and mountain goats was just a...More
