I was on a bus tour with Mayflower tours. We were pleasantly surprised when two young men boarded our coach. One of the men directed our driver through the city and helped with microphones, etc. The other young man, Dylan, played his guitar for us as he pointed out and described important places throughout the city. Dylan is a law... More

This lighthearted, rockin', informative tour of some of Memphis' music sites is EXCELLENT. See and hear the music that became the foundation of our modern musical culture, and see the related historic sites. Any fan of Rock, Blues, or gospel would LOVE Backbeat Tours.

Although my wife and me had been in memphis 2 days , the highlight of the tour was the Mojo tour. A fantastic guide who not only gave us insights into the legends of memphis but also entertained us with her guitar playing and singing. A must for all visitors to memphis!!! Just one downside, it didn't last long enough... More

We recently toured 3 of the backbeat tours and the one by far, that was the best, was The Discovery Tour with Kathy. She was fun, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour with Kathy as your guide. -Frances Buchanan

I wish I knew the name of our tour guide because she was terrific. She told us the stories of Memphis through history and songs. She was smart, funny and a good musician. We took the Mojo tour and joined the bus through a drive around town. The 90 minute tour is only $30 bucks or so which is pretty... More

We booked through Backbeat as we did not see the typical Hop On - Hop Off that you find in most cities. Overall it proved to be a suitable alternative, visiting a few of the key sites around Memphis. We met outside of BB King's to catch the bus, a prominent and easy to find landmark. Our guide Larry proved... More

One of the Best Ghost Tours I have been on! Our tour guide was great, I think his name was John! Some of the people on our tour actually saw orbs on their phones. The stories were great! I highly recommend adding this tour to your Memphis must do list!

Okay.. so my boyfriend and I did the discovery, big mojo, and graceland tours & I have to say I was extremely impressed with all three. If you can, try to do all three! It's totally worth it! By far the best tours I have been on. Each tour guide was very knowledgable! One tour that stuck out was the... More

We booked this tour having researched it on trip advisor. We decided to take the Big Mojo Tour which takes in Sun Studios. The bus is very quirky, and a musician sits at the front and sings throughout the tour, which was very entertaining. They tell you about the origins of music detailing the rise to fame of such music... More

It's just easier hopping on a bus, getting dropped off, told where to go and getting a ride back. It's even better when the driver knows A LOT about Elvis. We had such a nice time talking to him about his love for Elvis and sharing little known stories. The bus left Memphis on time and we returned as scheduled.... More
