On the Saturday before Easter, and during their annual Easter Egg hunt, my wife and I took my mother thru the gardens where she had been a flower judge many times. We had a great time, the setting, grounds and layout are great for a couple of hours walk. She loved it. Unfortunately she was in a wheelchair and the... More

I live by the Botanic Gardens and it is very beautiful. I just hate you have to pay just to go in the property. We wanted to take family pics there year before last and they said we had to pay per person in the family

The garden is divided up into different areas each with a different focus. They have a fun area geared to families and others areas that shady and peaceful. Really enjoyed my day there.

The cherry trees were in spectacular bloom and they were the highlight of the garden for us. The other thing we really enjoyed about this garden was that they clearly labeled so many of the trees that line the garden's paths. The garden has many path and lots of places to just sit and enjoy the flowers, trees and wildlife.... More

Spend an afternoon walking about in the magnificent Memphis Botanic Garden. Not only will the adults be enthused about this special place, there are sections devoted to the kids as well. The Blecken Pavillion is a standout structure set in some woods adjacent to the Japanese Gardens. The admission for adults is a well spent $10.00. There is also an... More

A stroll around these tranquil, well-tended acres will bring you relief from Beale Street overload. Gardeners will enjoy learning about the plants and getting inspiration from the various types of landscaping and "themed" gardens. Many families were there with cameras, using the flowering cherry trees (in March) and bright red bridge as a backdrop for portraits. A goose drowsing on... More

Very beautiful very nice but.........They need to cut down on the golf cart employee traffic . Even on Saturdays they have golf carts with employees zooming about the property. Leaf blowers going, they kind of don't respect the peacefulness of the place. they should do most of the stuff in the early morning hours during the week. it's rude and... More

Their "Big Backyard" is a nice change from the normal park escape with the kids. Random guy hints to do and see all while surrounded by a beautiful landscape. My kids are 5 & 2, and we always have a good time. It's usually enough just to visit that particular area and let them wear themselves out, but lots of... More

We enjoyed our visit on a sunny Saturday afternoon. While I was visiting with my husband and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, I definitely saw the delight that would happen visiting the gardens with children.

Thank Debra H. C
