We were in town and decided to visit the gardens. The gardens are very easy to find, which is great if you're not a local. Sometimes places like this can be tricky to find, but we had no issues. The entrance fee I felt was...More

We enjoyed our stroll thru the gardens today. We could not be more impressed with the My Big Backyard area for kids. There are multiple areas for them to explore & enjoy,. There is a treehouse, a place to build a fort, tunnels to crawl...More

I had the opportunity to visit the Memphis Botanic Garden while on a business trip to the area in early May. I spent 2-3 hours one afternoon exploring the garden and all of the beautiful things it has to offer. I found the signage directing...More

What a nice surprise, even though was cold, the flowers stated to bloom. Very peaceful in the Japanese and Asian gardens. Love "the backyard" and the herbs garden.

It is very pretty with all kinds of plants. The walkways were easy to walk. The map wasn't accurate and we got lost a couple of times. More water fountains and restrooms would be nice. We couldn't even find the bathroom by the stage.

From start to finish, MBG was a class act. Kudos to Kristen, Charity and Jamie for making our students' botany classes so hands-on and learner centered. The kids loved being able to take home a plant, a drawing, and a Japanese art design. They truly...More

The kids area was fun. The best part is the relaxing Asian gardens. It was almost too cold to really enjoy spending much time on the benches but would be nice when warmer. The freeze did some damage to tulips but shrubs seem to be...More

Yes you should be able to see most of the plants. The garden is massive, we didn't see it all as it got far too hot for us. We made it through 70%. Parking is on site and make sure to bring a bottle of water and sunscreen
