Our guide (Graham) was just the right balance of genuine enthusiasm, deep knowledge and humour. A great tour. Topped off for me by being able to slap a bass in that legendary room!

I like seeing places where historic events have occurred. Sun Studio is one such place. For music lovers and fans of Elvis Presley, Sun Studio is as significant as visiting Graceland. Not much to look at from the outside and also pretty rustic imside. But...More

This tour gave me goose bumps, listening to Elvis’s first recording, hearing about his determination to get a recording contract and who else recorded in the studio, then and now, plus finding out about what the building was used for between its use as a...More

We have visited Nashville numerous times but never took time to take the Sun Studio Tour. Upon entering you find yourself in a large room where you can purchase a beverage or tee shirt. This is where we waited for our tour guide. The tour...More

If you are interested in the roots of rock and roll then a visit to Sun Studios is a must do in Memphis. The tour guide is informative and there is a real sense of music history born out of this small studio.

There is but it's hard to find. There is a really narrow drive right next to the studio and there is parking behind. Also some options on the street. We cheated and parked in the Dominos parking lot across the street. :)
