This venue is completely real and not in any way Disneyfied. The young lady tour guide was brilliant - more bounce than Tigger.

A great visit and tour of the small and largely untouched studios where rock and roll began. Tours are at set times so recommend go early and buy tickets in advance for a convenient time. Tour lasts about 1 hour and isnt costly so highly...More

Fun time! Stood in the studio where Elvis recorded his first hit song! And the Million Dollar Quartet jam session! History and house of music legends! Love!

The tour was a 5 stair with Captain Graham steering the ship. He delivered a highly interesting and entertaining performance. It was the opposite of the Gibson tour where the guy is a negation 0.

This is not a long tour and the place is very small. You go upstairs to a small museum, which is one room with a mixture of artefacts. You then go downstairs to the studio. So many years have gone by with this building, having...More

On the advise of a Memphis resident, we visited this recording studio that was the professional home of many performers - including Elvis, Johnny Cash, and many other pioneers of a Rock and roll. The building is a delightful throwback to the 1950s. The Sun...More

So glad we decided to tour Sun Studio. The guide was very informative and allowed us to experience history by holding the Mic that so many great musical artists used while recording in the studio.

There is but it's hard to find. There is a really narrow drive right next to the studio and there is parking behind. Also some options on the street. We cheated and parked in the Dominos parking lot across the street. :)
