I haven't been to many zoos, but we've always loved the Memphis Zoo. It continues to get better and better with the addition of the Hippo Camp.

What a great zoo! You have to pay for parking, but that was okay with us since we had luggage in our van and the parking lot had security. They have a white tiger (my favorite animal). We went to see the pandas. This zoo is a lot bigger than it appears. We spent about 5 hours there. Their food... More

Been a while and a 15$ it might be awhile again. Tuesday is free after 2pm. Was not as impressed as I had hoped to be and some animals where just in odd locations maybe because of some revamping of habitats.

This was a pretty decent zoo, but the overall experience wasn't all that great. Waaaaaay too many kids racing around screaming, pushing through to get their view, climbing on enclosures and kicking the safety panes. I get that they're excited, but some peoples kids are totally undisciplined and out of control. A shout out to the zoo Administrators... consider having... More

We were visiting from out of state and heard that the Memphis Zoo was good. Usually we don't think to go to zoos on vacation, but I'm glad we did. This has to been the best zoo I've ever been too! There were so many animals and their enclosures were so cool.

Perfect weather. We rented a double stroller and took cooler in with us so we didn't have to spend extra on drinks! So much fun! Great family fun

I have always been to the zoo in the afternoon or early evening but I found the morning visit to be more pleasant and enjoyable because you get a chance to see the animals actually moving about since they are just being fed. I suggest visitors come early between 9 am and 11 am

Such a great time. We live near Memphis and enjoy taking our family there. We arrived when they first opened that morning. Glad we did because it does get crowded. Later in the day parking becomes an issue

This is the best Zoo in this area. I live in Conway, Arkansas and it was worth the drive over. They had lots of ways to travel around the park and the animal spaces were thoughtful towards the animals.
