Great place to have or attend a wedding. I was very hesitant at first when the invite said the Memphis Zoo. Pleasantly surprised with inside 2 stories with a fire place and balconies. The outdoor fire pits were a great added touch and escape from...More

Nice day out. No food places open, lots of exhibits closed. Bathrooms in some of the houses were closed. Think this was a bad time of the year to go there. But, never saw a panda in a zoo before.

This is one of the few nice places in Memphis to go as a single , couple or entire family ! Plenty of parking. A few places to eat. And a lot of animals to see.

If you visit Memphis...your trip will not be complete without a visit to the Memphis Zoo. Put on your walking shoes and enjoy strolling through the beautiful grounds. Be sure to visit the rhinos!

This is one of the coolest zoos in America. First, it has pandas. That’s enough for four stars right there. But everything is clean, well organized, and the staff provides a lot of shows to feature their animals. The monkeys that watch you eat through...More

A beautiful zoo, very easy to navigate and you can easily see almost all of it in half a day. Good variety of animals, thoughtful and informative signage.

Memphis has one of the best zoos in the country. Clean, constant upgrades being done, and a reasonable price. I am always impressed at how lively all the animals are and they do a good job setting up interactive shows.

The Memphis Zoo is one of the best zoos in the country. It gets rated very high nearly every year and it certainly earns that rating. Pandas, Polar Bears, Big Cats, you name it. And, it's free on Tuesday afternoons.

We opened and closed the zoo. Got to see baby hipo, panda bears eating, grizzlies eating. All around great day. Lots of animals and interaction with park rangers to discuss the different animals.

It is pricey, but there is a great parkjust outside the zoo where you could picnic if you wanted to consider that option. If eating inside the zoo, the restaurant right inside the gate would be the one I would recommend... More
