We just took a shot at stopping here off of A82 on a Bank Holiday. Spanking clean pub. Had a giggle about about the noticeably sloped barroom floor. Great pub food including a pretty decent Ploughman's Lunch and an outstanding Steak Pie. Humorous, friendly, unpretentious...More

An old style Scottish pub. Food was okay for a pub, if a little rough and ready. Staff were friendly.

This is a quintessential local pub. Great service ... friendly staff and tasty food served at a reasonable price. Lovely spot on a rainy day.

We had dinner when we stayed over for a night in the youth hostel and the food was quite good. Both taste and quantity was very good and the desert was a delight. Be brave and try the 'Whiskey of the week'!

There we were, two Americans staying at the Best Western Crianlarich Hotel, deciding what to do for dinner. Rather than eating dinner at the hotel, we walked into town, and stepped into the Rod and Reel. How delighted we were to experience a real-people pub...More
