Certainly a very picturesque village but steeped in search of the almighty buck. Still it isn't too tacky or ostentatious. Really liked the Cemetery which has the graves of Commonwealth Servicemen from 3 Services. I found no Marines. Thought Nessieland the only truly discordant venture...More

There is no doubt that Drumnadrochit is an attractive village, and the village green makes the perfect centrepiece. There are several cafes and tourist shops, albeit that I find the constant “Nessie” theme a tad tacky and tiresome. But hey - if that’s what the...More

A beautiful & picturesque village green. Something out of an English story book. Would be lovely to hang around & enjoy the scenery. Many little shops & cafes to enjoy. Well worth a stop if you are passing by.

Stopped off whilst journeying along the A82. Drumnadrochit village as a whole is very pleasant. Refreshments available at local cafes, restaurants and post office. Also, conveniently good parking, toilet facilities and a Tourist Information Office

Charming little area with traditional buildings (virtually all are B&B's or cafes/eating establishments). Well manicured green - it is even nicer in Spring/Summer when colorful flowers are planted. Backdrop of the surrounding hills (especially in Fall colors) makes for a postcard-like setting. Buses to/from Inverness...More

Alway so tidy and flower beds look great. It's a lovely place to go, the green is in the centre and always looks attractive.
