This is a 5 star visitor attraction and retail complex. Loch Ness is already the most famous lake in the world but our aim is to make it better understood. This is achieved through a fully audio visually guided 35 minute tour. The presentation is theatrical in style and integrates the real tools and archive footage from four decades of research. As part of our educational remit, under 6s go free. The facts are objectively explained and whilst keeping the mystery centre stage, we place it in the context of the loch's very unusual properties. Thus we are endorsed by Scottish Natural Heritage as "A portal to the unique natural phenomenon that is Loch Ness". We offer a huge range of retail onsite and boat cruises on Loch Ness in the summer months. There is also a large cafe and restaurant attached to the site.

There was nothing wrong with the exhibition, it was well thought through, presented, interesting and left you thinking about what the truth is,...but it is SO out of date and needing a bit of TLC and bringing into this millennium. It could be so much...More

Good multimedia display of the history of the Loch Ness and the Loch Ness Monster. It’s very informative, and crazy to think how much money they’ve spent over the years to find a monster which turns out to most probably be a big hoax. But...More

It is a 5 room video with some history stuff at the end. Pretty much disproves the monster theory, but hey ho, ok way to spend half n hour

Visited with American relations and found this a great and informative exhibition which did not "Tartanise" Nessie but used facts and scientific data.

Went there after lunch. It was so full of people, but I really don't mind about this. There were some video presentations, which were on a good technical level, so I don't really see why some people here had such a big problem with that....More

Several rooms (like caves) showing different films about the Loch, sitings of Nessie etc. Quite interesting at times but some of the video screens were up high on the wall so my neck was aching by the end. Also, there are some benches in some...More

Although a bit outdated (as if it was created in the 70s or 80s), it's a really interesting and informative journey through the Loch Ness Minster myth.

This center is interesting and very well done. I was surprised and captivated by the whole exhibit. Information was presented so you can make your own conclusions. I hesitated about going here as time was short but, I am glad I did.I do not want...More

Really enjoyed it here. We came to find Nessie and this exhibition makes you question if it's fact or fiction. Lots of short films to see, and information on Loch Ness, at the end of it we believe.

Yes. The gift shop is in a different building on the left side. The exhibit exits towards that other building.
