This is a 5 star visitor attraction and retail complex. Loch Ness is already the most famous lake in the world but our aim is to make it better understood. This is achieved through a fully audio visually guided 35 minute tour. The presentation is theatrical in style and integrates the real tools and archive footage from four decades of research. As part of our educational remit, under 6s go free. The facts are objectively explained and whilst keeping the mystery centre stage, we place it in the context of the loch's very unusual properties. Thus we are endorsed by Scottish Natural Heritage as "A portal to the unique natural phenomenon that is Loch Ness". We offer a huge range of retail onsite and boat cruises on Loch Ness in the summer months. There is also a large cafe and restaurant attached to the site.

Was pretty disappointed with this attraction. The tour through the rooms and the film clips were interesting enough but there was an overwhelming feeling that it could have been far better. The whole place had a tired feel about it. Have visited and won’t be...More

As indicated in the title. This is not suitable for children who strongly beleive in Nessie. The exhibition has a focus of the Loch Ness's and Nessie's history, working bit by bit through possible evidence and in the end dismissing them as natural phenomena or...More

This is a walk through tour with films and soundtrack (available in a variety of languages too) in each room. Interesting information, but at £ 7.95 each it was very overpriced in my opinion. I'd not recommend stopping here, better to spend your time by...More

Very well layered out, and very educational, well worth a visit. All the stuff are very helpful, and very well informed. All so the gift shop is well worth a visit,

Average musty exhibition debunking the myth of Loch Ness which makes the boat trip search for Nessie a bit of anti climax - go on the boat trip first! Booked the boat trip at the exhibition centre and the boat was a bit rough and...More

Had a nosey in today. Very interesting watching footage of debunking past sightings. Asks more questions than what it answers. Worth a visit though.

We felt it was too pricey for what is on offer. You basically got through rooms watching a different film in each room about the fact that the Loch Ness monster prdoesnt exist and how people have thought they have seen it.

We didn’t initially plan to visit this venue but were very happy we did. The science behind what lives and can be found in Loch Ness was really interesting and you discovered these facts within guided exhibits - there are a lot of interesting shops...More

Well, I traveled all this way to hear them tell me there is really no Loch Ness monster - just a "mirror of our imagination"on the loch. I would guess that these unimaginative people wonder why the Nessie merchandise just sits and rots in the...More

Yes. The gift shop is in a different building on the left side. The exhibit exits towards that other building.
