A maze leading to all sorts of excellent books - I spent loads of money in just one visit but could spend a day in the wonderfully relaxing and inspiring place. If you like books be prepared to be wowed!

Whilst retaining many of the original features of the mill, a bookshop gallery and cafe have been beautifully integrated making for a very interesting visit. The bookshop offers a comprehensive range of reading material with a emphasis, naturally, on Scotland. We were ncouraged to browse and take a book into the cafe. The gallery had a ' interesting' exhibits of... More

This is an excellent book shop with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere which makes you want to hang around and browse. The staff are friendly and informative and willing to help you look for that elusive title you just can't lay your hand on. Downstairs there is a warm and comfortable cafe serving a variety of drinks, cakes and pastries... More

I you can't find a book to read from the vast collection in here then it hasn't been written. Clearly displayed in pleasant surroundings with a small selection of Scottish CD's and other small gift ideas. For book lovers I defy you to come out without a purchase. There's a cafe onsite if you wan't to linger for longer although... More

You spend some time browsing, before settling on the book that you buy. You then head downstairs, lured by the aroma of good coffee, bypass the cosy seats by the fire and head out to a seat on the sunny terrace, there to enjoy an excellent mocha, some home baking, and your new book...life doesn't get much better!

Visited the Bookshop and Cafe when passing through Aberfeldy recently. The Watermill is a beautiful building which holds a nice bookshop, the selection of books was good considering its small size. The cafe was also small and only had a few tables, the food choice was limited, overly fancy and quite expensive for a soup and sandwich but that is... More
