About
Windswept Brewing Co has been brewing award winning craft beer since 2012 on the Moray coast in Lossiemouth. We love to welcome visitors to our brewery, shop and bar. Our Tap Room bar has 7 bookable outdoor booths in our covered beer garden. Just head to our website for opening hours and bookings. We serve up to 12 different beers in cask and keg as well as freshly made wood-fired pizzas. Our bar also has bottled beers, gins, whisky, wine and ciders as well as locally roasted coffee, other hot and soft drinks, home bakes and bar snacks. Our Brewery shop is open 7 days a week with our full range of beers, merchandise and glassware to take away. We also can do coffee to take away too. Brewery Tours are also available just head to the website to book. The brewery has plenty of parking and good bus and cycle links.

Emailed to book a tour, but they weren’t doing tours. Came for a drink, but they weren’t serving drinks. Ended up buying a couple of bottles from the shop instead. It’s located on the edge of town but on an industrial estate. Drank the beers later which were ok, but didn’t blow us away.

Really enjoyed our beer and pizza here but it was a very cold and windy evening which spoiled it slightly. The staff were very friendly and offered us a table inside when one became available.

Great local brewery, well worth a visit!

Booked a brewery tour as a couple and really enjoyed our experience. The tour began by looking around where the beer was made, and our tour guide was happy to answer all our questions as he showed us around. It was great to get an insight into a small local brewery and how they produce all of our their product. The second part of the tour featured an opportunity to try many of the produce, including six 1/3 pints!
The indoor bar has a large selection of beers on draft and in bottles all brewed on site. They also have a seating area outside should you wish to enjoy the sunshine.
We ended up spending 1.5 hours here and it was great way to spend our afternoon in Lossiemouth.

Pooh said that he really enjoyed his visit to this bar and posed for some pictures.
It has a good sized outdoor area that is covered from the Scottish weather, all made with up cycled wooden pallets. There is also a smaller indoor bar.
The bar has a large selection of beers on draft and in bottles all brewed on site. If you want to try several you can opt for the beer flight that includes three 1/3rd pints.
They also have a pizza oven including the most garlicky (a good thing) garlic pizza I have ever had. Pooh didn't have any pizza though as it was too messy for him.
They also have a handy bottle shop so you take take home some bottles of your favourite beers from the flights.

Popped in to pick up some lagers/beers. Large selection on offer. The assistant was very friendly and chatty, really knew her stuff - I think we heard someone call her Tara...regardless lovely lass with good sound knowledge. Other bits and bobs on offer to purchase as well.

Great brewery and well worth a visit.

We stayed at Silver Sands Holiday Park and picked up 2 mixed cases of beer. The beer was excellent and enjoyed them all. My favourites are lighthouse and wolf.
We also went to brewery for a few pints and a pizza and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Loved Lossiemouth and looking forward to our next visit.

Great beers

The Taproom is spacious and outside with pizza and a firepit. There is also a covered area. The beers, food and service are excellent. There are a range of styles of beers available as pints, flights or bottles.
We had a two hour booking so had time to sample and enjoy tge beer and a hand made pizza whuch was fresh, filling and delicious.
Merchandise and takeaway beers are also available.

Huge selection of bottled beers

Great choice of beers, such a large selection.
We only visited to purchase beers to go, as it was a Thursday and the bar not open.
But we had great info, and my husband selected the best of the darker beers.

Brewery Tour

Visited Windswept Brewery on Sunday afternoon, after booking a brewery tour for 2, followed by an hour in the tap room. Andrew was a fantastic host, answered all of our questions and was very enthusiastic and entertaining. The beers were delightful (and bear blew my head off). Would definitely visit again!

Have been staying in Lossiemouth for two weeks so have had two visits. I'm not a beer drinker but my husband is so we booked a table. I thought as I was there I'd try a beer, Andy recommended Blonde and Hurricane for me.....I'm now a beer drinker! The other member of staff who was working was Gemma, she had really great local knowledge as well and beside the beer both Gemma and Andy made the visits really great. The takeaway service is good too.
