Went at Deer Center to spend a sunny day out with family. I loved the possibility to see really close deers and get them food (which will be provided at the ticket center, £1/bag). Children were delighted for seeing all these wild animals and the possibility to run and play on the grass. The place is well organised, and rangers... More

I visited the deer centre with the family having purchased an itison voucher. Even though I'm local, I rarely visit the centre as I find it expensive. Itison voucher helped with the cost. Good selection of animals now with brown bears, lynx and wolves as well as deer, wildcats and hawks. A pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

We had a voucher for Raptor World and spent the morning having a very interesting and close experience to the birds of prey. The staff were excellent. We had a lot of time with the birds, information about them and it was marvellous. We had brought a picnic, so went to the car and brought it in. There are picnic... More

We visited here as a family recently and had a lovely time! We bought two bags of pellets to feed the deer and had great fun, especially our grandchildren when feeding the smaller ones! There are many types of deer as well as bears, lynx, wolves, otters and raptors. We walked around the entire park and then went to the... More

Very enjoyable experience. The falconry was was very relaxed with plenty of handling even thought there were 6 of us doing it. The rest of the deer centre was ace. You get to feed the deer, so you are up close to them. Heard, wolves, wildcat, otters & great play activities for the little one.

Visited with a Groupon voucher, and felt it was a bit overpriced at that never mind the full price! It has a nice outdoor playpark, the otter viewing area, wolves, deer, wildcats etc are nice to see, but the indoor climbing frame area was filthy, there are plastic chairs to sit on and they were coated in dirt, couldn't move... I visited here with my partner after purchasing a groupon voucher - was really easy to get to, bus stops opposite entrance. Lovely little place. We purchased some bags of deer feed before entering which was such a nice experience to feed all of the deer in the designated feeding area - definitely a highlight. We had a lot of... More

This place has expanded and improved over the years from mainly a deer centre with some birds of prey to a mini zoo with foxes, bears, lynx, wildcats, wolves and otters. The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and it's good to see animals in favourable surroundings.
