Step through and over the Dunes and take in the amazing view along this stunning stretch of North Devon coast. Putsborouh to the left and Woolacombe to the right. Steady flow of the surf breaking up the beach. Ideal.

A lovely area for walking. Clean sand, clear water and attractive coastline. Follow the beach to the western end and join the coastal path to Staunton beach where there is a great selection of cafes and bars.

Extensive soft side beach adjacent to the town with all its facilities. Dog friendly on a lead beyond the river, and without a lead beyond the 'rock'.

Yes there are a few shops with surfboards for sale and hire. You will see them in the small town area behind the Red Barn pub/restaurant and also down by the beach. We used Huntersurf to hire some bodyboards & wetsuits... More

Yes dogs are allowed to the left of the stream although they must be kept on a lead. If you want to let them off lead then the area is much further down the beach to the left of the millstone. Hope that helps.
