This sanctuary doesn't have lots of animals but it has a great ethos and purpose.all the keepers we met were friendly and engaging. We would return just to support the great work this place does.

Eventually waiting 5 minutes outside the ticket hatch,a staff member finally came from the seating outside and served us. A family of 5 adults cost us £37.50 which is ridiculous for such a small “zoo”,they animals seemed to be distressed and didn’t look well either....More

This Zoo and staff deserve so much recognition for the amazing conservation work that they do. Although we are in our late 70’s we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and learning about all that happens throughout the year. Lovely place to take children.

We had a lovely time at Shaldon Wildlife trust. Lots of animals I had never seen before such as the Owston's civet, the Javan mouse deer and the slow loris and also lots of gorgeous little cheeky monkeys. Staff were all really friendly and helpful.

Not sure where the bus stops but it's a very quiet area, not a busy thoroughfare so I would guess it's safe to do this.
