Great to find a cycle route with such lovely views. We parked in Okehampton train station, and rode our own bikes to Lydford. It took us about 4 hours with stops for lunch and a drink in the pub at Lydford. It's a little lumpy...More

Enjoyed the ride but didn't compare with others around Devon/ Cornwall . Didn't like how both ends started/ stopped on a road , not knowing where to go next. Would have been nice to start and stop with a car park .

Nice cycle path from okehampton to lydford. You can hire cycles in Sourton and it's a nice easy path for a half day trip, there are also a few pubs on route so you can stop off for drinks/food!

beautiful place to walk/cycle. lots of shaded areas. drink for the dig is advisable. there is a lot of dog poo left by bad dog owners but otherwise well worth a visit

Did the full cycle ride from Okehampton station to Lydford on a weekday (when it is quieter). It's about an 18 mile round trip, so allow a couple of hours if doing the full length. Easy fairly level cycling/walking with some great views to either...More

I am not a cycling enthusiast, so when my boyfriend found a cycle track that was flat and paved, I was for it. A nice trip to go to Lydford Gorge (which we did not visit because the prices were a bit steep). On the...More

Free parking and helpful staff ensure bikes were correct size and checked before our use. Sensibly priced and photo id left as a deposit we were on our way. Mainly running parallel to the railway line it was level and also had plenty of seating...More
