I love a visit to Dartmouth. It always makes me think of fairies for some reason. It is quiet and secluded, surrounded by greenery. I love a walk around the big stones listening to the gushing water. Simply beautiful.

We had a very pleasant short stroll along the river bank watching the water tumble through the boulders. The water is very clear. Advisable to choose when you visit as the car park and surrounding area can be heaving with visitors.
Place is lovely during the off peak season and very crowded during summer. We were there in March when it was peaceful and quiet, and enjoyed walking along the river, climbing over the boulders, taking photos etc.
