The harbour looked beautiful but the council let Brixham down for charging far too much for parking even if you have a blue badge you have to pay. Total rip off they are letting the place down as the harbour looked beautiful

Called with a group for a day out.Coach park has lovely view across the outer harbour with fishing boats bobbing around in the water. Just a short walk takes you to the old harbour area with its replica of The Golden Hind open to visitors...More

Visited Brixham and yet again had a fantastic couple of hours. Plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants, places of interest as in the Golden Hind and the Harbour/Marina.

What a wonderful local working harbour. Some lovely restaurants and tea shops. Wonderful to see some old and new boats.

Just love to sit on the quayside having a fish and chips lunch and people watching the day away. So much to see and the noise and smell of the harbour is just so relaxing

Visited Brixham for the first time last weekend and was extremely dissapointed. I found it crowded and dirty the whole place needs a complete makeover as it looks totally run down in fact I couldn't wait to leave, never again !

Went for a cycle ride from Torquay to Brixham. I normally head straight back to Torquay but since it was so bright and sunny I decided to sit on a bench by the harbour and enjoy the view. Watching the people going about their business...More

there is always enough to do and don't forget that there is a configuration of resorts along the coast easily accessible by bus including Torquay. there are plenty of exhibitions on year-round not to mention art galleries.

I agree,I first visited Brixham in October. I feared the same thing..... Don't worry, this is a lovely little town anytime. There will be a couple of places that close early, but only because we,as tourists don't visit them... More
