We had a wander around the harbour and visited the Golden Hind ship. Both were very pleasant. The shops on front are very cheap gifty. Didn't see much out if tge ordinary. Nice little free history museum for a wet day. Ferry over from Torquay was excellent.

We were so lucky with the weather and had a sunny morning in the harbour. Took the ferry from Torquay so it was very scenic and would strongly recommend it. The pirate ship had anchored when we were there so great for the children.

I love Brixham but it gets so very crowded around the harbour. If however you walk around the side to where the posher looking apartments are there is a nice ice cream shop and some pretty gardens.

Decided to visit after wanting to kill a few hours in the evening with some active kids age 4,5,7 &10. We walked to the harbour and saw a few people crabbing. Having never done this before A very friendly couple helped showed me where to buy the nets and baits and also helped me set up with the kids. The... More

There is so much to see and do. Take the time to explore this wonderful harbour. If you want to chill or just soak up the atmosphere, this is the place to come. This location has pretty much everything you could want for a day out. Great shops, food and more.

We spent a lovely couple of hours wandering around Brixham harbour and really enjoyed it - but made the mistake of parking in the Multi-storey car park that is close by. I tried to pay using the machine there but it was clearly faulty and advised Transaction completed then transaction cancelled 2 or 3 times during the 6 attempts to... More

Parked behind the fish market and walked into town. A bustling fishing port, lots to see and do. And it is clear it is a real, working town where locals and tourists are all in together. Less shiny than say Padstow but that adds to its charm, I think. Walked out on the sea wall and up to the seawater... More

We visited Brixham with my 10 year old son. There is lots to do near by with great transport links to the nearby resorts. So even if u get bored of Brixham you can hop on a ferry or a bus and get to Torquay in half an hour. It rained a lot while we were there but we still... More
