A lovely morning walking around

We spent a delightful morning walking around Brixham harbor seeing the boats, enjoying the November sun and the beautiful art gardens.

Brixham Harbour is a traditional working harbour with a great atmosphere. There's plenty to see and do for all ages. There are a good selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes (the smaller ones tend to be better value for money), and traditional seafood stalls selling crab, shrimp, cockles etc,. The highlight of the harbour is of course the splended replica... More

We came to Brixham whilst on a tour in our motorhome around the coastline. It is great fun to watch the fishing boats land the catch. The harbour is wonderful to wander around and is surrounded by the usual individual seaside shops selling everything from shells to clothing. The marina side of the harbour is lovely as they have different... More

Visited here whilst on a family break. We all loved this place with nice eating areas and souvenir shops. No beach to play on but the children loved seeing the boats and looking into the water to see fish etc. Lovely place to visit with interesting things to look at.

Brixham harbour is very pretty with lots of little interesting shops. We walked along the marina which was lovely and had a coffee in the breakwater bistro overlooking everybody playing on the beach and swimming in the crystal clear sea. Crabbing was our favourite activity & Pirate festival 2016 was brilliant! The whole town dresses up and it's a fantastic... More

We do come to Brixham on a regular basis mainly to eat. We made the decision to arrive a little early to enable us to stroll around the harbour,as usual it was busy giving it an atmosphere, trawlers tied up alongside, people gazing into them some small boats moving around the inner harbour. So relaxing
