Great Beach

A beautiful stretch of sandy beach, for a long walk to Crowe Point. Great sand dunes for playing in & dogs are allowed off leaf once away from the beach huts.

Every time we come here it's like the med. we have always been lucky with the weather but the sheer vastness of the beach makes it the best in the area. The cafe and shop support the beach well with the all new number plate recognition parking making life a lot easier. £7 for the day in high season is... More

Big car park leads to a vast beach and extensive sand dunes. Surfing is popular here, although the best waves can be found elsewhere like Croyde Bay. Great for walking, playing and having masses of room to do what you want!

Lovely place with a massive beach and beautiful coastline, on any good given day long lines of rolling waves to enjoy and share with many others considering the massive size of the beach :)

Great for sand castles and surfers, when the tide is out you can walk for miles. Braunton burrows are a great nature reserve

Heaters are available for chilly mornings/evenings. Dog crate and throws were provided for my dog who loved the enclosed garden. Outdoor shower and washing line... More

We came here on Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy. The parking tickets were a bit dear. On our journey though the beach I didn't spot any litter. This is a good beach for surfers and walkers alike.
