We arrived here later afternoon. It was £3.50 in sept 2018 to park the car regardless of duration. There is such a wide expanse of sand that it must be easy to find a spot even in the height of summer season. It was very...More

Bantham beach is a complete swindle for dog walkers. £6:00 to park even for a mid afternoon arrival to begin with, than you walk 200 yards along the path top the beach only to be confronted by a sign which VERY BELATEDLY informs the innocent...More

Had a smashing time here, bit of a narrow road to go down but great once there, there's food and drink plus a surf board hire shop there, sand is great and nice and tidy with brilliant views.

As said above - the uncaring and unhelpful attitude of the older man in the parking both was down right disappointing. Interesting to see other similar comments. Will avoid taking dogs there going forward too.
