If u don't have a car, the walk from the town centre is quite a trek, was so looking forward to this and left extremely disappointed, don't let the picture fool you

Well maintained gardens with a variety of interesting flora. Excellent views out over the sea to the other islands and an interesting statue of Victor Hugo. A gentle stroll is recommended together with a visit to the Guernsey Museum which is located in these gardens.

The annual Nerine Festival was on in one of the glasshouses and adding fabulous colour. The old glasshouses are delightful and the lower gardens lovely. A peaceful tranquil spot.

No change a lovely place to sit and enjoy the flowers and views. Some of it has been spoilt by the buildings that have appeared over the years.

If you’re a local or visitor Candie gardens is a must. Fantastic displays and museum. Whilst there visited the Victor Hugo exhibition, a wonderful collection of his works. Lovely cafe with delicious cakes and pleasant location.

Beautiful gardens with stunning views of St. Peter Port and Herm & Sark. Visited them daily on our walk to the harbour. There are 2 original Victorian Greenhouses which inspired the design for the ones in Kew Gardens. Café and interesting museum on site.

It was quite difficult to find these gardens, even with a map! However, we got there in the end and enjoyed a stroll through the peaceful gardens. It was September, so the flowers were not at their best, but still plenty of colour and worth...More

Sorry I wasn't looking for it - so never noticed it. The staff in the Art Gallery on the Park, should be able to let you know.

If my memory serves me correctly, the plaque is on an exterior wall, to the left of the main entrance to the museum.
