I have read the previous reviews of Saumarez Manor, and having just spent the afternoon there, all I can say is "what do people want??'. We had visited the place on our last holiday to Guernsey some three years ago, and we found it today...More

The first thing you come across from the car parking area is a tent selling plastic products. Access to the garden itself is very expensive and the attendant most surly and unfriendly in disposition. Once you are in, there are a few good sculptures however...More

We enjoyed wandering around the peaceful grounds which included many interesting sculptures. We also visited the tea room and sat outside by the pond in a quaint little garden area. The hot chocolate and toasted Gache was wonderful. We didn't have time for a tour...More

Decided to see the Manor, as it looks fantastic online. Alas it's the opposite. The Manor was officially open, the carpark was empty so we walked around the gardens. There were sculptures in the garden costing thousands of pounds. We walked to the entrance to...More

Great in a sunny day and in the summer when everything open... little train for kids, pond, house, garden and nice cafe. Looking maybe a little tired but great staff and nice location.

The parkland has many attractions for all the family. We like nature and history so the house which is from 3 periods was most interesting. The guide was very good. ST gardens were interesting but would have been better earlier in the year.

We visited Sausamarez Manor for the Ghost Tour and then returned again to visit the Coppersmith and Tea Shop. The host, Peter, is a gracious man, and living part of the Manor's history. This is a genuine man in his home- not a marketing, PR...More

It is free entry into the grounds and tea room and toilets you then pay to visit the sub tropical gardens (RHS members free) and tours of the house. We are HHA members and had a free guided visit, very informative.
