The museum is part of the Jersey Heritage group, so you can get the 4 for 3 package on entry if you are visiting all the heritage sites in your stay and save some money. Entry not cheap, but the museum is fascinating and interactive,...More

The Jersey Maritime Museum is at the side of the Albert Dock, just off Liberation Square in St Helier. The weather during our holiday wasn't as nice as we were hoping for, so one gloomy afternoon we decided to go round this museum, and the...More

Wow, great review....thank you. The Occupation Tapestry is very special to Jersey and we are very pleased you agree and have encouraged others to visit this unique insight into an Occupied Island.

We visited the museum on a very wet day. It was a little busy but there was plenty of space and plenty to keep us interested. Lots of hands on exhibits that were informative. Tapestry was not to be missed. Great insight into the occupation.

Not the largest but very interesting. Tapestries of German occupation are wonderful. Has many photos of ancient mariners and captains. Nice collection of marine paintings.

Very good displays and information, and quite a lot of things for my 7 year old son to interact with. We all found it interesting and really liked the unusual exhibits and the way in which the museum was laid out.

Thank you for your review of the Maritime Museum. Alas the museum is so packed full of maritime history that a cafe could not fit in the space. There is a small cafe nearby and our lovely team at the museum allow re-entry to those...More

It was good to see that we didn't have to go round the Maritime Museum to visit the Occupation Tapestry, they are separate and entry charges are rated accordingly. The tapestry is well worth visiting but give yourselves about an hour if you want to...More
