Fascinating, but please ensure you check the opening hours of the restored bunkers for the full experience. Lots to explore if the 'main' bunkers are closed but SO much better with full access when open at the weekends

Another Coastal walking place where views can be breath taking. Walk for miles and never see anyone or hear a care. Fantastic

I visited the area on a day when there were sadly no volunteers. That said the information boards were well written and the views amazing! It would have been good to go in one or two bunkers. I guess another visit is needed! It was...More

CIOS has done an excellent job opening up and preserving these old bunkers. Check for opening times in local press.

To be honest, I was expecting this to be slightly tacky and amateurish. I was very wrong. There's a lot to see in the Command Bunker, and everything is presented to a very high and professional standard. We visited on a Sunday and there were...More

One of the stop offs on the Island Tour. Very interesting insight into the History of Jersey. Would have liked to have spent a little longer.

The Germans built this defense system during the second world war. There is a lot of concrete around the island. The history here and the views over the sea are great. I had a guide and a sunny day which seemed to be perfect.

Jersey is full of wonderful bunkers as well as World War Two history. I believe it will be open, however go on the tour which is 20 pounds for the who day and you won't regret it, as you see all the island. Hope you enjoy.

Hi Linda, apologies for the delay in responding. October is very late in the season for us and most bunkers are closed by then. The final opening for 2016 is at Batterie Moltke, up at Les Landes, on October 8th. It is a... More
