Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Danny’s Curiosity Shop at Newbarn Farm. This is a great place to visit and something for everyone. A restaurant serving snacks and meals of good quality in nice surroundings. The petting farm for children.
Then there is the farm shop and Danny’s Curiosity Shop with all sorts of wonderful things from times past for sale at fair prices.

Have attempted to visit the restaurant twice for breakfast. Had heard good things about the cafe. First visit, there was no bacon available as the chef had not ordered same. Second visit today, the only food available was tea/coffee and dessert due to rostering issues. Will not be attempting a third visit. Pity because we always like to support local.

Farm shop: produce so fresh and reasonably priced. Had delicious lunch in Donkey Shed Restaurant. Pointed out to waitress that there is no "Disabled Parking". Her reaction was rather blasé. Hope she passes on comment to management.

I visited the farm with my son. Farm was small, but we'll kept and taken cared of.
Store has a wide range of product, but didn't notice any organics.

We really enjoyed the food at the restaurant. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that the waiter was asking people to leave the table as soon as they have finishes lunch cause other people were waiting. That was not polite at all.

We decided to take the trek and travel here with our 1 year old who, due to COVID, hasn’t seen a farm animal in real life.

On arrival, we seen the lovely little farm shop for fresh fruit/veg. We then made our way to the cafe, and we couldn’t have been more warmly met. The barista was top notch. Coffee divine, along with the muffins.

Although small, the farm is brilliant for the little ones. 2 geese strolled around the place like they owned it! We were able to see the ducks, chickens, geese, goats, pigs and donkeys. You can feed them, but we opted not to.

Highly recommend if you are looking for something to do with your little one/s while also having a yummy coffee.

I’m a regular visitor to Newbarn Farm as I only live up the road from it. Their local fruit and veg is great and the antiques corner is a nice addition!
The best thing about Newbarn though is the animals... go buy a bunch of massive fresh carrots from the barn and go feed the chickens, geese, pigs, donkeys, cows and coats, they love it! Nice environment and just a pleasure to regularly visit.

Dropped in for breakfast on a cycling spin with 7 friends, a friendly welcome and speedy service matched up with the quality of the food. Lots of options for coffee too with soy and almond milk.

Another great eatery to go on our list of places to stop off
