Located in Ashbourne, Co. Meath and just 30 minutes from Dublin is Ireland’s only theme park and zoo, Tayto Park. With over 100 attractions to experience and enjoy, there is something for everyone; young, old and in between. For the thrill seekers, the Cu Chulainn, Ireland’s first rollercoaster and Europe’s first wooden rollercoaster with an inversion, is sure to get your adrenaline flowing. But that’s not all, there are a huge variety of attractions, 100+ in total. Challenge yourself high in the sky on the Extreme Climbing Walls or Sky Walk, let the kids explore our Playground, Steam Train Express or our Mini Ferris Wheel or take the Tayto Factory Tour, free with entry, and find out the history behind Tayto. And for those who don’t need an increased heart rate to have a good time, enjoy a laid-back stroll through our zoo, where you can interact with the exceptional animal collection, from the mischievous meerkats to the largest of the big cats, the amur tiger.

Decided to visit Tayto Park with my boyfriend one day we were both off work. My expectations weren't overly high given that we are both mid 20's, I really thought it was more of a children's day out... How wrong I was! I think the...More

Didn't have enough time to get anywhere near the Factory, and because it was the end of season, the rope walk and some other things were closed. The Viking park is a good rollercoaster

Went to Tayto Park today and unfortunately had exhausted children with us (see other review) but they enjoyed it anyway. We got around the whole Park in a couple of hours. I think the dinosaurs were broken because they didn't move or make any noise....More

As far as I know the wristbands you can go on the rides as many times as you want so if the older kids were going on the bigger rides at least the younger kids could go on small rides again instead waiting around.
