Meet and greet the alpacas in the farmyard and head off for a leisurely stroll along the wildlife corridor. Come back to the farmyard and have a chat with Dominic about his ancient cereal project and listen as he explains all the various machines that were used to bring the crop from seed to harvest. Have a go at grinding your own grain to take home with you.Have a go at milking a goat & collect the eggs and enjoy the cup of tea and a scone. There’s always lots to see and do at Cornstown House.

Had a brilliant day with Dominic and Fionnula who were the most friendly and down to earth hosts I've ever had the pleasure to meet. I'd highly recommend for anyone with an interest in animals or nature to visit Cornstown House and Farm a visit as the Alpaca trek was a really fun and memorable experience!

I had friends over from Australia and was thinking of doing something fun for my friends daughters birthday, who had just turned 15. I had done alpaca trekking before and loved it, but had never done Cornstown House Alpaca Trekking. From the moment we arrived on the farm I knew we made the right decision to try Cornstown house. While so convenient to get to ( beside Ashbourne) it felt like smack bang in the countryside. Everything was picturesque. We were greeted like we were friends from the get go from Domonic & Fionnuala. We were given wellies each as we had not come properly dressed. We had been advised to wear old boots or wellies and long trousers. Luckily Dominic and Fionnuala think of everything. As I said this is so much more than Alpaca Trekking. There is soooooo many animals on their farm...from geese to pigs to goats, turkeys, hens, sheep, cows, dogs,a cat...and I've probably missed a few. As we walked around with our alpacas, Dominic and Fionnuala were full of very interesting stories and facts about the farm. A very warm, funny knowledgable couple. I really couldn't have asked for more from this day. We finished off with collecting eggs from the hen, feeding the pigs and then had tea and scones. Fionnuala was so kind and offered us a lift to the bus stop. I really can't say enough about this place. I can not reccomend enough. Excellent value for money. I will be back for more. I can't get enough. Thank you again xxx Kim xxx

We are 3 girls from Cavan who recently did an alpaca walk with Dominic. We received a very happy welcome from all the fury friends. The alpacas are outrageously cute. The walk was great, they can provide wellies if needed. Dominic and his wife Fionnula were excellent hosts. We would recommend this fun nature walk.Thank you for the laughs and for the all the doggie love.

I brought my daughter and nephew to cornstown house to walk with the Alpacas And they had smiles on their faces the whole day. Dominic and Fionnuala were the perfect hosts. A wonderful day where time didn't matter in the company of the most adorable creatures.

A lovely way to spend a few hours! If you’re an animal lover this is a must!! Fionnuala and Dominic bring you and their very friendly Alpacas (no spitting from this cuddly herd!) on a lovely nature walk around their stunning organic farm! I’d highly recommend a visit but don’t forget your wellies!!!
