While this does not look the way it is portrayed in the movie Leap Year, it is still worth the trip. The view of the surrounding countryside is spectacular on all sides. The ruins are enough intact to enable the visitor to envision the grandeur...More
I visited here not really knowing what to expect from the ruins and the view.
It was simply stunning.
Amazing to think way back when they were able to construct such a building up on this grand hill.

Amazing ruin only minutes from the M7. Quiet with truly inspiring views of the countryside. Looks kind of squashed from the opening gate area, but is way more impressive once you get up the hill. Not a difficult climb at all, a bit steep here...More
An amazing historic site- loved in that it has not be over commercialised. Stunning. Perhaps more information could be provided so do your research before you visit. Wonderful views of surrounding countryside.
