In his amazing home kitchen, you can taste some world class food, laugh, chat and learn professional cooking tips. Guests relax at John's 6-meter kitchen island (not that size matters) enjoying his Chefs Table Demo & Dine Experience. It's like a live TV cooking show where you can interact, eat amazing food and ask questions. Guests bring their own tipple to enjoy while having some KitchenCraic. Feel like you want to be a better cook, then look no further! John offers bespoke private cooking classes. I teach confidence in the kitchen. Suitable for Beginners to Professionals. John cooked in the legendary Quaglino's, London, he worked under Head Chef John Torode presenter of MasterChef UK. He cooked for celebrities, royalty and foreign dignitaries like the Queen Mother and Princess Diana at some of London's most iconic buildings and restaurants.

    Food is out of this world!!!
    We were met at the door by our friendly host Hazel and our experience was only starting. We were then brought through to the restaurant where we met John who was our chef for the night the experience was out of this world and my god the food was to die for it was scrumptious i have never tasted anything like it. It was so relaxing and John and Hazel enjoyed the banter with everyone . I would highly recommend and i hope to be able to visit them again soon. Thankyou to John and Hazel for a fantastic time🥂🥩🍾

    Want a fantastic night with exceptional food, look no further than The Devils Menu!
    Had a wonderful time with 10 of my family members last Saturday. This is a unique experience, involving the talented chef, John cooking in front of you, whilst you enjoy the results of his labour. The food was exceptional with a "melt in the mouth" pork starter and smoked steak main. He also said you won't go away hungry, so right there as I even struggled with one of my favourite courses, the tantalizing dessert. The net is, if you are looking for something a little bit different but very special, then here's the place. Not to mention the fantastic little pub a few doors down ,O Driscolls for a pre and post dinner drink!

    John is a food genius
    This man simply creates stunning food, the tastes carry so much depth and textures. When he fires up his mammoth mechanical-post-apocalyptic-industrial looking pet bbq "Dante", you know your in for a mighty meal. Chief john communicates both through his food and delivers excellent and passing filled descriptions. Both John and Hazel are incredible hosts and genuinely nice people. You can tell they authenticity believe in offering a homely yet truthfully professional experience.

A Fantastic Experience

Our third trip to The Devils Menu was a full day experience. Working with John and working through a plethora of new dishes. Prior to the session we had a call with John so he could get an understanding of what we wanted to learn and work on and then planned a comprehensive menu based around this. The fun didn't stop all day and it was a fantastic experience to learn from very talented chef. The ever present Hazel was there to to make sure that John was kept on track. Thanks to you both, a great day and we have already tried a. Couple of the dishes at home. Can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic Foodie Experience with an Amazing Chef

The best day of our wonderful Ireland holiday.

As a foodie, this is one of the most delicious, edifying and coolest experiences we’ve done in all our travels.

Chef John and his awesome wife Hazel welcome you into their lovely home and show kitchen.

What followed is a one-of-a-kind learning experience, where a Michelin worthy experience unfolds before your eyes and you get to be part of the process.

We got to see how every delectable course was prepared. And even better, he taught us so many tips and techniques that we can now use at home to prepare an amazing meal for friends and family.

A must try if you truly love eating delicious local food, cooking and learning how to make more Michelin-like meals but in an easier way than you’d ever expect thanks to his suggestions.

Be sure to ask him how we can up with the name for The Devil’s Menu😊

Thank you again John, Hazel, Marcellus, Mia and Porsche for an unforgettable day💕

A must do experience!

I have booked a private cooking lesson with Joan as an " activity" to do with my boyfriend for his bday. Well, John and Hazel have the amazing gift to be able to transform an " activity" to an " experience"!

One of the best day we had together with my boyfriend. Definitely great craic and definitely have learned a lot about food and about this wonderful couple. Well done guys! Can't wait to visit you again!

Incredible, fantastic food, amazing teacher

Had an incredible time with John and Hazel! I booked a day of cooking for my husband for Christmas and kindly John and Hazel thought it would be nice for me to join with him for a fun day together. We made a variety of foods that my husband always wanted to try to make! John and Hazel went out of their way to make the day a wonderful experience for both of us and we could not of had a better time! He's an incredible cook with so much passion, very funny and full of joy! We left great friends ^^ Thanks for the amazing day guys!
