Two up, two wheels, two glorious weeks of riding !!

Start to Finish it was a grand adventure! There are no words that haven't already been said by so many people after their Celtic Rider experience. "Best ever, Once in a lifetime, Gorgeous views, Lovely hospitality at every stay." Celtic Rider gave us the opportunity to explore this amazing country at our own pace, with a well crafted itinerary. From castles to cottages; from hedgerows to The Wild Atlantic Way, our memories will not only be of the breathtaking landscapes but also the incredible people who live here.

AMAZING - ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE
Sep 2021
We have been trying to come to Ireland since May, 2020. After the 4th time rescheduling due to COVID Restrictions, we finally made it!! Paul was completely understanding & accommodating to the situation. We rented a BMW GS1250 for 7 days - along with that we were able to rent the gear - Klim gear, boots, helmet, all of the essentials needed for those days in Ireland a little more rainy than others. The Rain, was no issue - dry as can be under all of the gear!!
We were able to go along our trip with the "pre-loaded" GPS that Paul provided along with a detailed daily itinerary - definitely need to review these itinerary's in order not to miss those important points of interest along the way.
The accommodations were also set up by Paul - they were fantastic!! Everything from classic/Top Shelf Hotels to a quaint B&B during our stay.
This was a once in a lifetime trip and would highly recommend if you really want to experience Ireland close up, long those outstanding windy roads and BEAUTIFUL Countryside!!
Thanks to Paul, Liam and the whole Celtic Rider family for an exceptional experience and FANTASTIC Vacation.

Would definitely recommend!! :)

Celtic Ruder Motorcycle Tours
Sep 2021 • Couples
We booked a 14 day motorcycle tour for 2 couples of The Isle of Man, Northern England and Scotland with Paul Rawlings of Celtic Rider Motorcycle Rentals. Paul provided two excellent BMW R1250 GS motorcycles, a GPS with daily route options, reservations at 4 & 5 Star accommodations in 11 cities along the routes and 3 ferry reservation. We love having the flexibility this type of self guided tour offers. Everyone at Celtic Rider were very helpful and ensured we had a wonderful experience. This was the 2nd time we used Celtic Rider and once again we’re delighted with the services they provide. We highly recommend Celtic Rider to our friends.

More than a motorcycle rental
Aug 2021
We had been in contact with CR owner Paul Rawlings for months, and had had to rearrange dates because of travel restrictions but eventually we made it and can’t speak highly enough about these guys. New and well fitted bikes; well thought out GPS programmed routes; excellent pre-booked accommodation; door to door service from our Dublin hotel; great value. All we had to do was ride and what a ride it was. Can’t wait to do it again.

We saw Ireland by Motorcycle!
Aug 2021
My husband and I wanted to visit Ireland...and we wanted to incorporate our love of motorcycling into the trip. Enter Celtic Rider in Kill, Co. Kildare, Ireland! Paul and his crew took great care of us, listening to our dream trip and helping us bring it about. I even got to rent a Suzuki, the same bike I ride at home, while my husband chose a Honda. Bikes were in superb working order. Riding gear? Who wants to fly all that over? Celtic Riders had us covered by renting some of the best riding gear we ever used made by Klim. Weather appropriate, as one is liable to encounter at least a little rain. Finally a Garmin to load our desired sites into, and we were off exploring the country on our own for 4 glorious days. Paul was even nice enough to start us out in the right direction riding us to our first stop - lunch - through Wicklow Gap. Breathtaking! Corkscrew Hill along the Wild Atlantic Way - exhilarating! Our honeymoon trip? Priceless!! Thank you Celtic Rider!!

Friendly people with a passion for motorbikes, offering great service (pick up from busstop, getting you going on the road,...) and well maintained bikes. Definetly value for money.

Let's Ride!
Jul 2021
My wife's bucket list trip was to Ireland. I always dismissed it, but finally agreed, on the contingency that we visit the country on a motorcycle. After researching various companies, and speaking with Paul from Celtic Rider, I realized this is the place we should rent from. He was so attentive and helpful to us, especially since this would be our first time visiting a foreign country. He was in constant contact via email and phone, making recommendations, and giving advice on what was happening in the country. Especially helpfull during Covid time.
Upon arrival, he gave us clear directions for the bus from the airport and personally picked us up from the bus stop to transport us to Celtic Rider. He then fixed us lunch!
Upon outfitting both my wife and I with helmets and riding gear, he also had a GPS Garmin that he had programmed in all of the places of interest that we would want to visit while we were there. This was an immense help! We would have been lost without the Garmin. Our cell phones did not work there so this was our only GPS.
We were given a BMW 1250GS which was absolutely perfect for our trip.
After our 8 day ride, he gave us a ride back to the bus stop so we could carry on to Dublin.
Paul and Liam were absolutely amazing in every aspect. Would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to see Ireland on a motorcycle.

This is an amazing way to see Ireland and mark off a bucket list item.
Apr 2021
This trip was a bucket list item for my brother and I. We always wanted to rent motorcycles and ride across Ireland. I had always dreamt of riding a Harley across Ireland, this dream came true! The amount of care Celtic Rider takes with every part of the company. The tour that they set up was spectacular to say the least! The daily routes seemed short but it was an excellent pace with all the stops they suggested along the way. The accommodations were amazing at the end of the day. The care that the company took to make sure we were comfortable and safe was refreshing, we were the second group out for the season and we had some rain, hail, wind etc but they always were checking weather and checking on us. the Klim riding equipment they offered was excellent and kept us dry and warm. The historic sites they suggested were incredible paired with the perfect motorcycle roads. The daily GPS centered routes kept us away from tourist traps and traffic, while showing us deep history of Ireland. My brother rode a GS I rode a Harley and consider myself a Harley snob. With the routes offered as well as the motorcycle the next adventure I feel I would NOT ride a Harley because it is not necessary. This trip was a great opportunity to have an incredible adventure with my brother with an incredible company. I can not say enough about this company.

Absolute professionals make for a fabulous experience!

We rented a BMW 1200 GS from Celtic Rider last summer and would give more stars if possible. We've rented bikes before overseas but this experience is above and beyond all others!!

I highly recommend taking the "training course" for any level rider. Paul gave loads of information about riding in Ireland, from "basic ride left, look right" to dealing with narrow roads, sheep, and hedgerows. My husband is a very experienced rider and he agreed it was very helpful. Paul even took us out on the road to reinforce the video.

If you're up near Ballycastle be sure and check out The Salthouse Hotel!
