My husband and I returned to the speaker bar , this was my husband.s and my local whilst he worked in Ireland. It was just like being home. Always welcoming and a good chat to be had with everyone. Warmest welcome as always from "Shorty" . Great service from Gerry, Robbie etc. We will be back soon. Xx

This is a lovely little bar, which adjoins the bigger Castletown Inn. The Speaker is warm and welcoming and has a fantastic pint of Guinness. Great service, lovely interior and comfy seats. We tried the pub grub - a toasted sambo, sea food chowder and a home cooked burger, and it was excellent and great value. We will definitely be... More

Noel Devine the owner of this bar and the Castletown Inn usually mans this bar. He is reknown for his dry wit and acerbic personality.Knows his clientele, always has a good word and easy going manner. Would recommend this bar to all Guinness drinkers

Best pub in Celbridge. Friendly staff and customers. Great pint and food. Good spot to watch the big games. One of the busier pubs in the town and is good for couples and groups.

The Speaker Bar is part of the Castletown Inn, the bar is a small, cosy bar with a nice atmosphere, staff are friendly and have been there for years mostly. Frequented by locals who welcome new faces. Well worth a visit for a quiet pint in a traditional setting.

Compact, Friendly, Great Pint, by a mile the best pub in Celbridge or surrounds. In these days when pubs are nearly always massive barn like affairs its just so nice to have a really nice small bar to sit and have a drink and a chat, television available for those who want to watch sport. Enough said.!!
