Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a wonderful day out with the Family, very interesting history and nature in the area. The crew could not have been more sound, knowledgeable and interesting. Great experience and thank you Chris and Pat again for everything. Dick and Sinead FitzGerald

Can't recommend this tour enough.
Just in from a relaxing and tranquil trip down the Barrow and canal.
Beautiful scenery and the staff were so nice and welcoming.
We had a mixture of adults and children and everyone was sorry when our two hours were up.
Thanks for a memorable afternoon and we will certainly be back again.

I booked a trip for 11 people for a birthday celebration for 23rd May. 2020
On March 30th I tried to correspond by email about the trip I had paid for to ask about refund if it could not go ahead. I got no reply. I tried phone no and left message, still no reply. I know we have a pandemic but there are no restrictions to answering emails or phone calls.
I eventually got a response from contact via Facebook messenger. I have been told I would have refund by close of Friday 19th June. It did not happen. I was given the phone no to contact to get details. There is still no reply on that no even though I have tried on numerous occasions And left messages. I am local. I am totally dissatisfied with the unprofessional response from this tour operator and still have not received refund.

We had a great time. The three guides were so pleasant. They had huge knowledge of the waterways, birds, butterflies, fish etc. We heard about the history of the local area. The afternoon tea was huge, with savoury and lots of sweet!. The guides were very witty. Well worth the money. Would highly recommend.

Did this tour with family and young kids and was really impressed. The crew were very welcoming and knowledgeable. The views are gorgeous along the way and it’s really relaxing. There is plenty of wildlife to be seen and it’s a great way to learn the workings of a lock gate. Brilliant value for money too. Highly recommended.

A wonderful trip on the grand canal and river Barrow. 3 hours of gentle motion and wonderful peace along with great scenery, locks, and a bit of history thrown in. A camera is a must.
