Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had bought pottery here before and dropped in to purchase some more. I spent 100e and Im sorry now because the girl in the shop was extremely unfriendly I tried to make small talk and no answer. My partner tried some light conversation and no reaction.
Politeness costs nothing..

Visited Penny’s pottery. Most unfriendly. No communication. Tried to chat but no luck. Bought a jug and plate which are lovely but would not go back again because of the unfriendly manner of the girl who seemed to be in very bad form in spite of the sale.

I have topped up our collection with 2 new tea mugs (or coffee) by online mail order and credit card. Great. Our son, daughter in law and young grandchildren all have their own "named mugs" as wellas ourselves! Lovely!

The cafe has great coffee and freshly made baked goods. There is a children’s play table. Outdoor seating is very pretty. The rest rooms are good. The pottery had fantastic stuff.

Lovely coffee and homemade treats. Buy yourself a mug with your name on it. Great spot before you do the slea head drive just after Ventry.

For anyone walking the Dingle Way this a stop easily missed as it is just past the turn off for walking along Ventry beach .The cafe is a little haven on the way .Fresh scones and cakes baked daily using eggs from their own hens ,who can be seen fre range out the back .The Pottery is also nice and some works by other local artists .

Had just come off the beach at Ventry, dropped in with the dog and friends, just asked not to let the dog out the back where the cats and the chickens were, fair enough.

Cozy seating area, loads of books to peruse, cat and chicken looking through the window.

Coffee was fine and the cakes amazing.

Looks like the lady not only has a pottery shop but a cause too, she tries to stop the local cats reproducing and over populating the area. I think she also rescues.

We parked just past the cafe at the recycling place.

All good.

Good pottery, delicious homemade cakes and scones but let down by poor quality weak coffee. Ordered a latte but was served with an Americano with a dash of milk and told that was a latte.

Stopped off for refreshments in this former dance hall with chapel furniture. Staff were friendly but laid back and very functional - not much conversation. Toilets were also functional but clean. The minor improvement to the quality of the teas and coffees would be to descale the hot water boiler because the tea tasted of scale.
