Disappointed after reading the reviews on this. We visited Roundstone on a trip to Galway and stopped off at the Shamrock for lunch. I ordered the seafood chowder and my friend chose the chicken curry. Unfortunately the chicken in the curry appeared to be underdone...More

It seems touristic at first site (may be it is), but it was full of locals when we were there, the chowder and bread were to die for, the barman very nice, and the beer and cider great. The atmosphere was quite nice and enjoyable....More

An open fire and Irish character make for a great start to the evening meal here. The staff are keen and friendly. The menu has many of the typical Irish dishes and pizza too ( which according to one of my companions was great).
