We got to the mills by 4:35, the last tour starts at 4. You cannot visit the mills on your own and it's disappointing that they close so early when there is daylight until almost 8 (in spring when I went) They have a cafe and a gift shop, but nothing out of the ordinary.

We went to Skerries Mills on day off specifically for the tour and I could not recommend it more. Paddy who guided the tour is a character and had a great knowledge of the whole place and the history involved. He kept us all entertained. We were in a group with two other families including small children and Paddy was... More

Took a side trip here after seeing the mills from a higher vantage point. The staff are very knowledgeable of early mill history and how the practice arrived in Ireland. We did not eat here, so I can't comment on restaurant but the history was definitely food for thought. Definitely worth the time to check this out.

A day tour from Dublin...Skerries is beautiful place, very clean and tidy. If we have a chance to live there will be fantastic. The Mills itself are gorgeous....and all the buildings around. Paddy was our tour guide and we were very happy to listen to the story of the mills. It was Monday and only me and my husband were... More

Visited with the family & had a coffee while waiting for the next (& last) tour to start at 3.30pm. Lovely little restaurant & shop upstairs & toilets downstairs were clean. Tour... More

Poor service and tiny slices of desert. Could be so much better based on location and ample parking.

Place was done up nicely, but que was misleading as we thought we had reached the top & were next to see santa, only to go thru the door to find another que.. narror corridors ( not for the clostrophobic,) with...
