Lovely friendly cozy pub with open coal fires. It’s a pub oozing with character. Lads behind the bar are friendly and efficient. Great boozer. Well worth a visit. Great selection of beers on tap too.

Excellent cosy bar with great beers and super friendly staff

A cost bar with a 70's and 80's vibe going on. Great vinyl night on Tuesdays with traditional live music on Fridays. Top tip - Nice Chinese restaurant next door, order your takeout from a high stool in the Snug

The Snug is a very small pub in the middle of Skerries town where most of its patrons are locals. The atmosphere is always good, the pint is excellent. It is the perfect place to relax for an evening of chat with friends. it's one of the few pubs left where you can actually hear yourself speak..

This is a gem. Once you visit The Snug you’ll never leave. Bar staff second to none. Ollie pops in and out and nothing is a problem. Relaxed atmosphere...5*****

The perfect pub

The perfect pub in every sense is the word. Lovely atmosphere, great decor, small pub, peace and quiet of the hustle and bustle of big pubs. Lovely barman. Should have stayed all night. Definitely worth a visit.

Small is Beautiful. The snug is a great example of ‘ small’

They have everything asked for, from tonic without additives in Their tonics but particularly, so called slim line.

The usual slimline has an artificial sweetener in it but if you want no artificial tonic go to the snug. My fellow says the pint is good also

Quaint little pub in a quaint little Irish seaside town!

For some reason or another The Snug in Skerries caught my eye when I was looking for places to visit outside of Dublin. Based on other reviews and pictures here on TripAdvisor I decided it would be a nice place to take my wife for a drink or two. Once inside, there was a very warm and "home body" feeling to the place. The staff were friendly and the drinks tasty and enjoyable. It was a good decision to stop here for a pint!

Great little pub and we love it BUT as the night progresses THEY TURN THE MUSIC UP TOO LOUD!! and us mid lifers end up with sore throats from shouting at one another. It is not really a young peoples pub so why have such loud music?. Its a pity because otherwise it is a cosy little spot, the service is very good and the drink fairly reasonably priced.

I like this place. Ideal if you want a nice pint and chat. Kitted out old style (good). No TV. Can get crowded but if you get a seat, you are there for the evening. Too comfy to leave! No kids running around either.
