Stop in for a pint, or two

Great pub near the DART station in Dalkey. Amy always had a smile and a drink for us. I got to chat with Mr. Finnegan for a few minutes too.

Nice clean bar, unfortunately they rip off their customers as regards to pricing , don't think I will be back.

I've been a regular visitor to Finnegan's over the years and have never been disappointed, great beer and a reasonable selection of whiskey. Staff are very friendly and attentive even when it is busy. Food at lunchtime is always appetising and hearty. What more could you want?

Recommended by two friendly locals throughout the day. Had a lovely time at Finnegan's, tried the Power 12y whiskey and loved it ! It's a very cosy and authentic place, friendly people and lots of laughter and fun time ensured. Coming here again next time visiting Ireland!

This is one of Dalkey's venerable old pubs.. The decor is elegant with beautiful artwork and a truly comfortable atmosphere. My father in law has been going to this pub for over 70 years, I'm only a 36 year visitor, for drinks that is.. Finnegan's pub started serving food years ago and they have tweaked their menu to suit the... More

Nice surprise as got on the DART from Dublin looking for a different pub we could not find and decided to give this one a try. Reason I wound up here as Concierge at hotel gave us directions to the wrong town. Anyways........ Had Crab Bisque, Baked Crab with cheese au gratin, a salad. The brown bread was simply amazing... If you're visiting Dalkey you can't miss out on having a pint in Finnegan's of Paddywood! Great cosy & friendly atmosphere in both the early & late evening, perfect for a post-walk drink by the fire or later for those in search of a bit of local interaction! ;0)

We arrived in the evening after a day of travel to Ireland and the kitchen was closed after about 8 pm. We did not actually see Bono but he's known to frequent this pub. It's located in the heart of Dalkey and is a true Irish pub. Couldn't have been a better start to our Irish vacation.

Probably the most iconic pub in Dalkey. Not for nothing is Dalkey known as "paddywood". You could well be at the bar having a Guiness with some very famous rock stars or authors in this brilliant pub.
