An unusual tour of an ordinary castle. You are taken around it by costumed guides working in character for the Lady of the family, the cook and the apothecary. This was very effective. The characters were very well presented with interesting, informative scripts.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was so nice. They answered all our questions and I believe even spent extra time with us. It was a great experience!

Did lots of different tours on this past trip but The Dalkey castle tour was a highlight. Well organized staff and the actors are wonderful on the tour. Lots of fun with great facts about the origins of the castle. We will return for sure....More

We really enjoyed our visit to the Heritage Centre. The staff were excellent and really helpful. There were several interactions with people dressed up and acting as if they lived in the castle at the time it was built. Really informative displays and educational film....More

The castle itself with a skit that they do probably is about an hr at the most! then if you want to walk around the grounds, they also have a small movie room that shows a movie, I beleive it was about 20 minutes long... More
