Make sure you bring spare footwear!! Unlike other kayak operators, this one does NOT provide neoprene footwear so you are walking in mucky water with your own shoes. Not cool! Shoes are soaked and feet remain wet for duration of trip. If water is wavey, rebook if possible, because you won’t get to Dalkey Island, which is quite a let down. The young men who assist with trip are nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Jenny, who appears to run business, will not take you to island if even one person expresses concern about rocky water. While we saw a few wild seals, no doubt Dalkey Island would have allowed far more seal sightings.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Clara. So much to experience anyway but her historical information elevated the whole experience. Reassuring attention to safety but the whole experience is so relaxing. A great opportunity to get close to nature. Delighted to get close to the seals, see their playfulness.

Amazing tour! Very friendly tour guide, Mark. Informative session at the beginning to give us the safety info. The standard of the kayaks and the wetsuits is very good. Headed out from Bullock Harbour and had a great tour along the coast line before crossing over to Dalkey island. Saw loads of seals on our way out and back. Very informative and interesting tour of the island. Pricey tho!

I have been traveling to Ireland near annually for 30 years now and this is one of the coolest things I have ever done. Jen and Rob are fantastic, the Dart ride from Dublin to Dalkey is a breeze and the town is very cute. I loved seeing the seals up close and such a unique view of Dublin City, my entire family went and we could not recommend the experience enough! Wear shoes you are comfortable wading up to your shins in.

Due to winds from Scotland the planned Dalkey trip could not go ahead and instead we kayaked around Dun Laoighre harbour with Rob. We were a small group of 2 so were treated to a individual guided tour of the harbour. Rob was easy company & the visit to see the seals was a real treat. Rob was an excellent guide, very professional and patient. Would highly recommend this trip even without it going around Dalkey Island!
