Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bullock Harbour is truly beautiful and we love walking to it regardless of weather. The nature and natural feeling is always enjoyable.

Bullock Harbour is a really nice little harbour just outside of Dalkey. Nice castle overlooking the harbour. Fishing boats available to hire.

Very original feel to this little harbour that’s overlooked by Bullock Castle. Boat rental available. Saw some seals in the harbour the other night.

We live right around the corner from Bulloch Harbour so I walk my dog here frequently. It's a quaint, working harbour with lots of colorful buildings and boats. Great place to take in views of the ocean and watch seagulls. The gulls love to hang out when the fishermen are cleaning their catch and they grab some treats. :-) There are benches here and small gardens of flowers. Never crowded and a nice little spot to get fresh air and think!

Great view of the see here in this harbor and in a sunny day would make you think your somewhere on the Mediterranean

This is such a pretty working harbour. Should you show up at the right time and the fishermen are emptying the pots they're usually happy enough to pass a few along. Really beautiful scenery. Used to hire boats from here as a child, have no idea if they still do it as I didn't see anyone there this year. Lots of seals about too. Always worth a de-tour

Open 24 hours, unlike some OTHER places we know.
Great sea view.
Went crab fishing here but was nowhere to buy fishing tackle, this was my dad's fault for telling me there was a place to buy some. All was not lost as seen one crab leg and one WHOLE dead crab.
Seal seen also (this was alive).
Great place for a romantic break with that special someone.
Could do with a vending machine.

Bullock Harbour is protected by a Bullock castle, a 15-16 cent tower house. This year it is celebrating an anniversary- probably 300 years old. The harbour was one of the main routes from Ireland to Britain throughout the middle ages. Today it is used for storage of fishing boats and for a point of departure for divers.

Bulloch is in Dalkey. A very picturesque harbor, sometimes visited by a seal or one. Colorful small boats adorn the harbor walls. Charming, free place to visit.
