Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small Park overlooking Sorrento Terrace and Coliemore Road. The views are simply stunning and you can see from Howth down to the South.

The views from Sorrento Park are 360 degrees and stretch from Howth to Bray. Excellent place to relax and enjoy the tranquility.

Amazing little Park at the end of Coliemore Road and Sorrento Terrace. The views are staggering and the Old Band Stand is worth a look. You will never tire of this place. Recommended

Not particularly well known, this little park offers stunning views across Dalkey Island and beyond. North offers Howth and look south towards Bray Head, Wicklow and the Sugar Loaf. Check out the old bandstand.

Beautiful place to while away a few hours enjoying the peace, quiet and just stunning scenery. Lots of people fishing off the rocks - they always seem to be quite successful.

Beautiful little park that has stunning views. Old Bandstand area! Lot of history in this small spot. Under refurbishment which is great. Vandalism unfortunately is everywhere- shame.

Sorrento Park is a hidden treasure but was neglected for many years. All is now changing. Dalkey Tidy Towns group discovered a World War 2 gem - the remains of Look Out Post No.7 on the summit - one of 86 located around Ireland's coast. Eleven men stationed there monitored and recorded all air and sea movements from 1939 to 1945 as part of a vital Coastwatch network. With Council support, the circular base of a WW2 Searchlight base was reinstated, three benches installed and commemorative stones placed on the summit. Early in 2019, the entire Park will be converted to a Pollination Park for all to enjoy. The Bandstand will be upgraded for musical events too. This will be fun to watch.

What a great view with the clearing of the bushes. It shows what the local community in any town can do

The local Dalkey Tidy Towns group have created, with support from DL County Council, a stunning viewing platform and compass on the summit of this small park - one of the most beautiful viewing areas on the entire east coast of Ireland. Unfortunately, the Park has been neglected for many years by the Council and so it looks abandoned, overgrown and in need of serious repairs. We hear that the Dalkey Tidy Towns team is working hard to get the Council to rectify this. Once done, when combined with the stunning views from the summit, this will be a very special landmark. 'Looking forward to seeing this transition sometime soon.

Beautiful clean park with great views of Dalkey Island and the surrounding area, ideal for a picnic or just to enjoy the views. We sat and watched the planes practicing for bray air show
