We have been going to the Clarence Brown Theatre for years and have never been disappointed in the preformances. The acting is professional and as good as any Broadway production! We san Outside Mullingar and laughed the whole way through. The casting is spot on and the actors deliver a superb performance! Last night we went to see the play... More

The Clarence Brown Theater puts on excellent plays, and Outside Mullingar was a very good play. The acting was superb, and the set was very well made and detailed. It was also o.k. for teenagers to see. There was no real cursing, and the storyline was a little dramatic. There were plenty of laughs while watching the play! It was... More

As usual the CBT knocked it out of the park. Fantastic play, wonderfully acted, first class direction and production. A wonderful night!

I wasn't sure what Outside Mullingar would be like. The review was a little confusing between a comedy and a darker side of life. It is clearly a comedy of the first order with pathos woven into it. The script and the repartee of the characters brings the play alive from the first scene. Good staging provides the appropriate Irish... More

It is a charming, quirky kinda of story. For adults only, just because children won't get it, not because of language or anything R rated. The characters are charming the story unique and there any so many laugh out loud moments. The audience was roaring with laughter in the final scenes. Only four characters and a one act play,

This production was an excellent example of the productions at the University of Tennessee Clarence Brown theater. This contemporary Irish romantic love story was performed and staged by truly outstanding cast and crew. We cannot wait until the next show!

The CBT did it again! Another great show with excellent cast, set and costumes. It was a fantastic, beautiful and entertaining show and never a dull moment. Parking was easy and close by. CBT personnel easy to work with (ticketing, etc.) The set is awesome, costuming is great and the musical numbers appropriate with time period of the play. Overall we totally enjoyed the performance of A Christmas Carol.

My family, including two children, attended CBT's opening night performance of A Christmas Carol. Every aspect, from the set to the actors, was extremely well done. This was our first visit to CBT and based on our experience, we'll be back!
